STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP AND IMPLEMENTATION
From Strategy to Implementation
At Marianapolis Preparatory School, I helped translate the Board’s strategic goal of increasing boarding enrollment into coordinated action across the school. Working with senior leadership, Admissions, and Facilities, we renovated four dormitories, expanded faculty housing, and strengthened the residential life program to support growth. Over three years, these efforts increased boarding capacity and enrollment by 30% while improving the residential experience for students and faculty.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Accountability
As the ETX Center at ASU grew beyond 20 staff, I created and chaired a Teams Council connecting the leads of Learning Design, Technology, Marketing & Scaling, and Business Operations. The group met biweekly to coordinate priorities, identify dependencies and barriers, and maintain accountability across workstreams. Monthly meetings with the Center Director connected team-level execution with broader strategy and provided a regular structure for decisions and course correction.
Evaluating Opportunities & Allocating Resources
As ETX’s senior business and administrative leader, I have helped evaluate new programs, partnerships, technologies, and funding opportunities against mission, capacity, risk, and financial sustainability. I developed multiyear forecasts and scenario models that informed decisions about staffing, investments, and organizational priorities, giving academic leaders the evidence needed to determine which opportunities to pursue and where limited resources could create the greatest impact.
Systems for Execution & Continuous Improvement
I build systems that help educational organizations move from good intentions to consistent execution. At ETX, I helped establish quarterly performance reviews, project-management processes, financial forecasting, quality-assurance workflows, and research practices that create regular opportunities to measure progress and adjust. I also prepared annual reports for NASA, NSF, and Gates program officers, documenting progress against commitments, evaluating outcomes, and identifying priorities for the next year.
